This soup is just what you need for a lazy day inside. Cabbage and sausage are cooked to perfection in a slow cooker. Enjoy this dish with a thick slice of corn bread on the side.

  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbs spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tbs white wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Blend well.
