Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough
  • 8 cooked breakfast sausage links
  • 4 Slices of Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt and pepper to taste
  • ⅛ cup egg wash
  • Sesame seeds to garnish
  • Maple syrup for sauce

Directions

First things first, preheat your oven to 350°F.
Next, unroll your crescent dough onto a work surface. Once flat, separate the dough into 8 triangles.
Cut each of the cheese slices in half; place 1 on each of the triangles of dough. Top each with 1 sausage link. Roll the triangles as directed on can; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Brush the top with egg wash and lightly sprinkle the top with sesame seeds.
Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with a side of maple syrup
