  • 1 pound pasta
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons vodka
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • Salt and pepper

Boil a large pot of water and add the pasta, cooking for 10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside. Heat the oil over medium heat and add the sausage to the skillet. Break up the meat and cook until it is browned. Add the minced garlic and season with pepper. Stir and cook until the garlic is browned too. Then add the tomatoes and a dash of salt. Bring the skillet to a boil then lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Next add the vodka and cream and return to a boil. Add the pasta and lower the heat. Toss for 1 minute and serve.
