  • 1 lb. bulk Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 med. russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 C. onion, sliced
  • 1 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • one 15-oz. can chunky tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 deep pizza crust dough

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 10-inch-pie plate. Place dough on bottom of glass. Mix potatoes, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the onion in a baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, half of oregano and half of basil. Top potato mixture with cooked sausage, remaining onion, oregano, basil and garlic. Pour tomato sauce evenly over all. Bake uncovered for 1 hour. Top with remaining cheeses. Bake 30 to 35 more minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
