For an even easier recipe, use a bag of frozen saute vegetables (chopped onion, celery, and green pepper) for a hastier fix.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot pork sausage
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 C. chopped celery
  • 1 C. chopped green pepper
  • 1 C. chopped onion
  • 2 (11-oz.) cans chicken rice soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 (8-oz.) can mushrooms and liquid
  • 1 1/4 C. uncooked rice

Directions

Cook sausage until crumbly. Add pepper and chopped celery, green pepper, and onion. Cover and steam until tender. Add remaining ingredients and bake in a large casserole dish for about 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees. Stir once while baking so top will not dry out.
