  • 1 lb Kielbasa Sausage
  • 1 ¼ C Celery, minced
  • ½ C Onion, chopped
  • ½ C Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Garlic Clove, minced
  • 1 ½ C Chicken Broth
  • 1 tsp Sage
  • Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 6-oz pkg Stuffing Mix

Begin this recipe for sausage stuffing by heating a large, deep skillet over medium heat. One hot, add your sausage links to the pan. Let brown for about eight to 10 minutes or until cooked through and browned all over. Remove the sausages from the pan and set aside. Chop into thin rounds once cooled.

Next, add your onion and celery to the pan. Let the two cook for about five to seven minutes or until tender and beginning to brown. Toss your mushrooms into the pan and let cook for about four minutes before tossing in your garlic. Let cook for an additional 30 seconds before stirring in the chicken broth and sage.

Season your skillet with salt and pepper to your taste and return the cut sausage to the pan. Allow the skillet to come to a boil. Stir in your stuffing mix and cover the skillet. Remove from the heat and let stand for about five minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve warm as a main course or side dish.
