This recipe gives you the option of chicken or steak (or both!) tacos with the same yummy lime vinaigrette. Assemble your tacos with all of your favorite fixings!

  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • 1 lb. steak, cut into pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 T. olive oil, divided
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 T. lime juice
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 T. fresh cilantro, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil and sauté 1 clove of garlic with chicken and half of your onion until chicken is no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to half of a greased baking dish. Return to your skillet, heat another tablespoon of oil and sauté remaining garlic and onion while cooking steak to preferred donesness. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to the other half of your baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk together remaining oil, lime juice, sugar, coriander, and cilantro. Drizzle over chicken and steak; bake for 10 minutes. Assemble tacos however you like!
