  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 T. Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg
  • 1 T. parsley
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together the meat, egg, Italian seasoning, parsley, and salt and pepper to taste, making sure everything is well incorporated. Form the meat mixture into balls, and set aside. In a pan, combine the olive oil, onion, garlic, tomatoes, and salt and pepper to taste, heating over medium heat. Cook on low for 10 minutes. Pour the half sauce into a baking dish, then place the meat balls over the sauce. Top with the rest of the sauce, then bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
