Full of flavor, you won't need anything else to enjoy these pulled pork sandwiches. Use a homemade barbecue sauce for the pulled pork as well.

  • 3 Tbs. kosher salt
  • 2 Tbs. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 C. paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 Tbs. cayenne pepper
  • 1 (4 lb.) boneless pork shoulder
  • 5 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 Tbs. rosemary, crushed
  • 6 C. water
  • 2 C. BBQ Sauce
  • Buns

In a small bowl, mix all the seasonings together. Rub them all over the pork shoulder. Take a large pot and add 2 Tbs. olive oil. Braise the shoulder. Add onions, celery, carrot, rosemary and water. Cook for about 4 to 5 hours on low to medium heat. Take the meat out of the liquid. Let the meat rest for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting through. Coat pork with sauce and then pile on bun for sandwich.
