  • 1 lb. pork tenderloin,
  • ½ C. barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ C. onion, minced
  • ¼ C. celery, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 6 sourdough buns
  • Optional toppings:
  • Cabbage
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion

In a large saucepan heat pork tenderloin, barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion over high heat. Bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper and crushed red pepper if desired. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Let cook for one hour.

After an hour of cooking, remove pork tenderloin from pan. Shred pork and return to sauce pan. Stir to cover the sauce evenly on the pork tenderloin. Evenly distribute pork onto buns and add additional toppings. Serve warm.
