Another recipe found in my grandmother's recipe box that she used to make for my brothers and sister when we were young. Hope you too, will enjoy this one.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. butter
  • 2 C. sugar
  • 2 C. raisins
  • 1 C. chopped nuts
  • 1 C. milk
  • 2 C. figs (optional)
  • 2 Tbs. honey
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 1/2 C. flour
  • 2 Tbs. baking soda

Directions

Beat all ingredients until well blended. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake ate 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes.
