  • 3 C. chicken broth
  • 2 frozen cubes of basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 T. olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ C. onion, diced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 8 large tomatoes, diced
  • ½ C. evaporated milk
  • 1 C. dried cheese ravioli
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese, grated

In a saucepan, sauté the garlic, onion and frozen basil in olive oil. Add in the diced tomatoes and bay leaves. Pour in the chicken broth. Add the saucepan mixture into a crockpot with the brown sugar. Cook on high for 4 hours. Add in the dried ravioli and evaporated milk 30 minutes before the mixture is ready. Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over each serving. Serve and enjoy.
