  • I think it is great just as the recipe says, sure better than those frozen ones. I usually make two at a time in corningware pie plates. Although, I do like to add some seasoning like paprika or my own curry powder an some salt and pepper, but it is better for you with out adding more salt. Eh? Good both with and without added salt.

  • This chicken pie makes its own crust .You can also use turkey or beef. It is really a basic add any thing you like, it is gooooood!!!

  • It was too dry & too bland. I made a second time & added onion to mixed veggies, used 1 1/2 cans of soup, pepper & seasoned salt and placed in 10" casserole, so the topping wasn't too thick.

  • this recipe sounds good, but instructions seem incomplete. exactly how do you create the crust? is it just dumped on top or do you mix it in with the soup-vegetables & chicken and stir it all up together?

  • Easy enough, granted, but tasted
    too bland for me...needed some
    onion, salt and pepper...but it
    certainly is quick!

  • This pot pie makes its own crust.on the top of pie. But it doen't have a bottom crust. Or at least mine didn't.
    It is delicious too.

  • This is similar to the "Impossible Pie" recipes that came out some years ago in the Bisquick ads. You do indeed pour the Bisquick ingredients over the filling. It forms its own crust.

  • Same comment as Addie. I checked one of the other recipes, and it said to pour the bisquick, egg, and milk whisked mixture on top. But, What about the bottom crust?

  • The directions are incomplete. Are you saying to mix the Bisquick mix in with the chicken, egg, soup, etc? That's what it sounds like. I think the dirctions need to be revisited.
