Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless pork loin
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil cooking spray

Directions

Trim fat and butterfly roast, then set aside in dish. Mix soy sauce, garlic, and ginger and pour over roast. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, turning occasionally. Remove roast from marinade and discard marinade. Mix brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil in a saucepan and cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. Spray grill rack with cooking spray, and place roast over medium-hot coals. Brush roast with mixture and cook for 20-25 minutes. Baste frequently.
