Elegant, filling, and surprisingly easy to make, these stuffed mushrooms are the perfect appetizer for an occasion. Loaded with cheese and bacon this delectable finger food will get your taste buds going.

  • 5 to 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 15-20 large mushrooms
  • 8 oz cream cheese

Preheat the oven to 400F. Wash mushrooms and scrub until clean. Snap off stems and leave aside. Chop up stems.
Drizzle olive oil in a pan and fry mushrooms over a medium heat, capstone down. Once warm, remove from heat and place on a baking dish. Then cook bacon and mushrooms stems over a medium heat.
Then, mix bacon and stems into the cream cheese.
Spoon about 1/2 to 1 tablespoon of mixture into each mushroom cap.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are nicely browned.
Serve immediately.
