  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1/4 C. pesto sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 C. black olives
  • 1/4 C. capers
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Basil leaves

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice french bread into 3/4-inch thick slices. Arrange on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil. Cook in oven for 10 minutes or until begins to get golden brown and crispy. Remove from oven and top each with pesto sauce.

Place onions, tomatoes, black olives and capers on each slice. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top. Garnish with basil leaves. Serve
