Brushed with powder sugar and filled with gooey plum jam and walnuts, these crescent rolls are perfect with a side of tea and coffee. Serve warm or even cold. Top with other fruits as well!

  • ¾ cup raw brown sugar
  • ½ cup (3-ounces) pitted plums
  • ½ cup copped wlnuts
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 pkg.(8-ounces) crescent rolls
  • 1 egg white

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and mix together brown sugar, plums, walnuts and cinnamon in a small bowl. Put 1 tablespoon of plum filling into each crescent roll and roll the crescent rolls from widest end to form the shape. Transfer rolls onto baking sheet and brush on egg white. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
