Seasoned Steak Cuts
Serving Size / Yield
- 4 (8oz) beef steaks, 1½ -2 in thickness
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Remove steaks from fridge and allow them to reach room temperature. Line a baking sheet with foil and preheat the oven to 450°F. Heat a griddle on high heat. Mix the pepper, salt, olive oil and garlic together in a small bowl. Rub the steak with the mixed seasoning and oil. Cook the steaks on the griddle for about 2 minutes on each side. Using tongs, transfer the steaks over to the baking sheet. Roast them for 5-6 minutes for medium, 7-8 minutes for medium-well. Remove the steaks from the oven. Allow to rest for 5 minutes to absorb the flavor and serve with veggies and potatoes or rice.
