  • 2½ lbs chicken breast, thinly cut into chunks
  • 1 cup honey
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoons minced onion
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds

Mix together all the ingredients except the sesame seeds and chicken in a bowl. Add the chicken to the crockpot and then pour in the sauce, stirring to make sure all the chicken is coated well. Cook on low for 2-4 hours, or until chicken is tender. Pick the chicken out and put into a bowl. Pour the sauce left in the crockpot into a saucepan. Mix together the cornstarch and cold water and pour it into the saucepan. Cook on medium until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour in the chicken and cook until heated through. Remove from heat and allow sauce to thicken a little more while it cools. When ready to serve sprinkle with sesame seeds.
