Serving Size / Yield
- 2 C whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 to 1 1/8 C lukewarm water
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- Toasted sesame seeds
Combine everything but egg white and seeds, mixing into a soft, smooth dough.
Knead for about 5 minutes. Break into two loaves.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 2 hours.
Lightly grease a baking sheet. Place loaves on it.
Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Cover with a kitchen towel and place in a warm, draft- free place. Preheat oven to 375º and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Bake bread in oven for 30 minutes. Remove the bread from the oven, then serve.
