Sesame seeds are delicious on more things than just bread. These scallops are topped with this crispy ingredient and get a delicious crunch. You have serve this dish over rice or couscous.

  • 3 Tbs. sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 12 sea scallops
  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 bunch asparagus

In a bowl, stir sesame seeds, salt and pepper.

Dip flat sides of each scallop in sesame mixture.

Heat olive oil in grill skillet. Cook scallops until cooked and sesame seeds are golden, about 4 minutes.

Cook asparagus in same skillet until browned, about 10 minutes.

Serve scallops and asparagus on a plate warm.
