  • 1 1/2 C. pasta shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook the pasta according to the directions. Meanwhile, cook the beef and onion over medium. Add the garlic and cook another minute. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, cheese, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined. Drain the pasta and stir into the beef mixture. Heat through and serve.
