Sherman Lima Beans
Ingredients
- 2 packages dry lima beans
- 6 small onions, minced
- 3 cans tomato soup
- 1 C. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. each; salt and pepper
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 lb. bacon, sliced
Directions
Cook beans with baking soda until skins separate. Mix beans with all other ingredients (except bacon) and place in casserole dish. Layer bacon on top. Bake at 350 for one hour.
