- 3/4 C. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/4 C. sugar
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Stir butter and sugar until well mixed. Stir in flour. If dough crumbles mix in an extra tablespoon of butter.
Roll dough 1/2-inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut into small shapes with knife or use cookie cutters. On ungreased cookie sheet, place shapes 1/2 inch apart.
Bake about 20 minutes or until set. Immediately transfer cookies to a wire rack.
