Shrimp Angel Hair with Lemon Caper Cream Sauce

An easy dish that looks very impressive. Big juicy shrimp flavored with the Lemon Caper sauce tastes divine.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • 2 C. heavy cream
  • 2 oz. white wine
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 Tbs. capers
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. chopped parsley
  • 2 oz. olive oil
  • White pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste

Directions

Heat oil in sauté pan. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute or until garlic is soft, not brown. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes. Add wine, capers and lemon juice; cook until reduced by half. Add cream; cook for 2 minutes or until sauce slightly thickens. Season sauce with salt, white pepper and parsley. In separate pot, cook pasta as directed. Drain and toss pasta in sauce; coat well and serve.

Yield: 4 servings
