Shrimp Salad
Ingredients
- 1 C. long grain rice, cooked and cooled
- 1 small pkg. frozen green peas, cooked and cooled
- 2 tins shrimp
- 1 1/4 C. celery, diced
- 1/4 C. green onion, diced
- Sauce:
- 1/2 C. salad oil or olive oil
- 1 Tbs. soy sauce
- 3 Tbs. vinegar, white
- 1/2 tsp. Accent
- 1/2 tsp. celery seeds
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- Addition:
- 1/4 C. toasted almonds
Directions
Mix the shrimp and vegetables together. Make the sauce and pour over the shrimp and vegetables; mix well. Add toasted almonds 1 hour before serving.
