  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 T. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 (20 oz.) packages cheese tortellini
  • 2 C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar marinara sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, heat oil and sauté onion and garlic until softened. Pour in marinara sauce, oregano, basil, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Once heated through, spoon a bit of the sauce at the bottom of a greased baking dish. Add in tortellini, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Mix well and bake for 30 minutes covered, and 10 minutes uncovered.
