Simple Baked Beef and Pasta

- 18 oz. dried Penne pasta
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 14 oz. ground beef
- 26 oz. garlic and onion pasta sauce
- 3 1/2 oz. Parmesan cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, and return to pan. Set aside.
Grease a large skillet with oil and heat over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until soft. Add the ground beef ad cook, stirring often, until browned. Add the sauce and stir until well combined. Bring it to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir the meat sauce into the pasta and pour the mixture into a large baking dish. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden.
