Simple Broccoli Stir-Fry

- 1/2 C. vegetable stock (or water)
- 2 Tbs. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 2 large broccoli crowns, cut into small pieces
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
Combine stock, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl and stir until dissolved.
Heat oil plus 1/2 cup water in a stir-fry pan. Add broccoli, garlic, and ginger, and stir together. Cover and cook over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
Uncover and add a little more water if the pan is dry. Stir-fry over high heat until broccoli is done, then stir in stock mixture until liquid thickens. Serve.
