Simple Lemon Chicken

Ingredients
- one 2 2/12 to 3-lb. chicken, quartered
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tsp. prepared minced garlic
- 2 Tbs. butter
- 1/4 C. lemon juice
Directions
Season chicken quarters with salt, pepper, and oregano, then rub garlic on chicken. In a skillet, brown chicken quarters on all sides in butter and transfer to an oblong slow cooker sprayed with vegetable cooking spray. Add 1/3 cup water to skillet, scrape bottom, and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. At last hour of cooking, pour lemon juice over chicken and finish cooking.
