Using bagged vegetables saves time, but you can make your own stir fry mix, Serve this sweet and sour dish over rice for a truly Asian inspired meal.

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 C. carrots, shredded
  • 1 (10-12 oz.) bottle sweet and sour sauce
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbs. water
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag stir fry vegetables, cooked and drained

Put the beef and carrots into the crockpot. Pour the sweet and sour sauce over it. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and water. Add it to the crockpot, stir, and continue to cook until the sauce has thickened. Mix in the cooked stir fry vegetables. Stir to coat.
