Simple Tart

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 1/4 C. pastry flour, sifted
- powdered sugar
Directions
Put sugar, eggs and lemon rind in a saucepan over low heat. Beat until lukewarm. Remove from and continue to beat until cold and foamy. Sprinkle flour into egg mixture slowly, while continuing to stir. Pour into a buttered and floured 18-inch cake pan. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. Turn over on serving dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
