This simple tuna salad recipe is low fat and simple!

  • 2 cans chunk light tuna in water
  • 1/4 C. olive oil mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. mustard
  • 1/4 C. onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 celery, diced
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix.  Place on your favorite bread.

  • Have to say... this is very good. Loved it, made double the amount and could eat this all day. I am of course pregnant so I have been craving tuna salad :) Very good and simple. Glad I came across this recipe. Best one yet!!!

  • My variation on this same recipe is to use plain fat free Greek yogurt instead of mayo plus a little lemon juice. Jenn0522

  • I love the olive oil mayonaise... this is almost the same as my version, but I will try this one next time. I prefer to have my tuna salad with Romaine or Spinach and NO bread. And sometimes I use lemon or lime juice and olive oil instead of mayonaise. All are great, plus sometimes just with vinegar if you don't have juice on hand.
