  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ½ C. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 ½ C. chicken broth
  • 8 C. dry bread cubes
  • 1 C. turkey, cooked and shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 egg

In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion, celery, and mushrooms until tender. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed veggies, turkey, and broth. Season with salt, pepper, parsley, and sage. Mix in beaten egg and transfer to your greased crockpot. Cook on high for 30 minutes and then reduce heat to low and continue cooking for an additional 4 hours.
