  • 1 lb. pork steak, cubed
  • 3 T. flour, divided
  • 2 T. butter, unsalted
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 C. water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 1 T. oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 (8 oz.) can beef broth
  • 1 C. carrots, sliced
  • 2 C. potatoes, chopped

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Toss pork in flour to evenly coat. In a large saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic and onions until fragrant. Add in pork and cook until browned. Pour in water, broth, oregano, parsley, carrots, and potatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Serve with fresh French bread.
