  • 1 5 lb. roasting chicken
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1 C. white wine
  • ½ C. chicken stock

Preheat oven to 425. Clean your chicken well, inside and out, and pat surface dry to prevent steaming. In a small bowl, mix melted butter and garlic. Feel free to add any desired seasoning at this point. Brush the garlic butter over the entire chicken. Tuck the wings under the body and tie together the legs. Roast the chicken in a roasting pan for 1 ½ hours until juices run clear. In a saucepan, bring chicken stock and wine to a boil and simmer for 5-8 minutes. Slice chicken and serve with sauce!
