Sweet potato fries are always given a rap of being superior to regular fries, and these sweetie pies are no exception. How could something that tastes so sweet and fluffy somehow be an excellent source of fiber and B Vitamins? Enjoy these decadent, but somehow good for you, fries with your favorite dips.

Ingredients

  • 5 sweet potatoes, peeled
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and slice your sweet potatoes into long thin sticks. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder. Have the olive oil in a separate bowl. Dip each sweet potato in the oil, and then dredge in the spice mix, and finally line them up on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes and then serve.
