  • 8 Golden Delicious apples
  • ½ C. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ C. honey
  • ¼ C. pecans, chopped
  • 1 ¼ C. boiling water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut out the cores from the top of each apple, leaving a cavity to fill with honey mixture. In a bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, and pecans. Stuff each apple with mixture, add butter to the top if preferred, and place in a baking dish. Pour boiling water into the dish and bake for 45 minutes until tender.
