Every time I make brisket I have leftover meat that could last for days. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with simply reheating your brisket and serving it with different sides, but we suggest this fun and creative option for using your leftover brisket meat.   • 1 tbs Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 14-oz can Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 3 C Leftover Brisket Meat
  • 2 tbs Molasses
  • 2 tbs Brown Sugar
  • 4 Hamburger Buns, warmed

Begin this recipe for sloppy leftover brisket sliders by heating your oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add your chopped onion. Let cook for about five to seven minutes or until tender and beginning to brown.

Pour in your tomatoes along with the chili powder, salt, freshly ground black pepper, and dry mustard. Let cook for about one minute before adding the leftover brisket meat, molasses, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine and then cover and reduce the heat to a simmer. Continue cooking for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.

Serve warm on hamburger buns and with sides of your choice. Enjoy!
