This is delicious crockpot dish will bring your grandmother to mind while eating with a side of garlic bread. This recipe is easy to prepare and cook with simple ingredients such as cheese tortellini, Alfredo sauce, Italian spices and of course parmesan cheese sprinkled throughout.

Ingredients

  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 2 26oz. jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 2 C. parmesan flakes
  • ½ C. yellow onion finely chopped
  • 2 25oz. packages frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1⁄4 C. fresh parsley finely chopped

Coat crockpot with cooking spray. Sauté onion and garlic in in a large skillet with the olive oil, stir occasionally. Mix in the Alfredo sauce and seasoning and pour one cup in crockpot. Pour one package of tortellini in the crockpot and top with a cup of cheese. Repeat this process with the other bag of pasta. Pour remaining sauce over the pasta and cheese, cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Garnish with parsley and serve.
