  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 Tbs. Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbs. beef stock
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 ½ tsp. liquid smoke
  • 3 lb. beef brisket, trimmed
  • ¼ C. beer
  • 3 Tbs. chili sauce

Combine the chili powder, stock, cumin, and liquid smoke. Rub the mixture over the beef. Place the onion in the slow cooker and top with the beef. Combine the beer and chili sauce. Pour it around the beef. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Let stand 20 minutes before serving.
