Tasty bean and beef tacos, made right in your slow cooker!

Ingredients

  • 2 C. chopped cooked beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can taco sauce
  • 1/3 C. sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 1/3 C. chili seasoning mix
  • 24 taco shells, heated
  • 1/2 med. head lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 C. shredded sharp American cheese
  • 1 tsp. picante sauce

Directions

In a slow cooker, stir together cooked beef, refried beans, taco sauce, olives, and taco seasoning mix.  Cover and cook on high-heat setting for 2 hours.  Spoon about 1/4 C. mixture into each taco shell, top with a little lettuce, tomato, and cheese.  Add picante sauce as desired.
