  • 3 chicken breast filets, cut in half
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 C. buttermilk
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 C. Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 buns, toasted
  • Pepper jack cheese
  • Red onion
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato

In one bowl, mix together the milk and eggs. In another, mix together the flour and spices. Dip the chicken in the eggs, then the flour, then back to the eggs. Coat the chicken in the bread crumbs.
Place the chicken in a well-greased slow cooker and cook on high for 3 hours. Remove the lid for the last 15 minutes.
