15 minutes is all it takes in the morning to come back to a warm pot of homemade chili. Great for chilly nights in and best served with shredded cheese or sour cream.

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion; chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves; chopped
  • 1 C diced tomatoes
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbs chili powder
  • 1 ½ ground cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Begin by preparing a pan and lightly browning the ground beef for 10 minutes.

Then drain the beef liquid and add the beef into the slow cooker. Then pour in the onions, garlic, tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Mix well and let the mixture cook on low for 8 hours.

When ready, serve hot with a sprinkle of cheese on the top. Enjoy!
