  • 1 C. Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 C. Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/4 C. Barbecue Sauce of Choice
  • 2 1/2 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs, chopped
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

In a large crockpot, stir together the maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, garlic, onion powder, and barbecue sauce. Add the chicken and stir to coat. Cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is tender and a thermometer inserted into the chicken registers 165 degrees. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
