Ingredients

  • 8 C. apples, chopped and peeled
  • ¾ C. milk
  • ¾ C. sugar
  • ½ C. brown sugar
  • 1 ¼ C. all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 Tbs. butter, cold
  • 2 Tbs. butter, softened
  • 1 stick of butter, diced
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. allspice

Directions

Toss the apples and spices together. Whisk together all of the dry ingredients. Combine the milk, eggs, butter, vanilla and ½ C. of the flour mixture. Pour the apples in a pot and pour the batter on top. Pour the flour mix on top of that with 1 stick of butter diced. Let this cook on low for 6 hours. Enjoy with ice cream!
