Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

A five-ingredient chicken breast dish that tastes like a million bucks.

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breast halves -- cubed
  • 1/8 C. butter
  • 1 pack dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup

Put chicken, butter and dressing mix in slow cooker; mix together and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Add cream cheese and soup, mix together and cook on high for another ½ hour or until heated through and warm.

Serves 4.

  • Absolutely yummy. I serve it mixed with egg noodles and add some broccoli florets, red, green and yellow peppers, and bit of chopped onion. My favorite dinner now.

  • This recipe seemed great for me to try in our crockpot in our truck. Just a few ingredients were needed and sounded yummy.
    I am making a slight change by adding some V8 to the recipe in the first step.I also am going to serve on a bed of penne pasta made in our microwave.
    I will let you know the results. Plan to make just as written to compare.
