  • 1 can minced clams
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 C. chopped onion
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 cans evaporated milk

Drain the clams and reserve the juice. Add about 1 cup of water to the juice. Mix the bacon, potatoes, onion, carrots, soup, black pepper, and evaporated milk in a slow cooker. Add the reserved clam liquid and cover. Cook on low for 8 hours. Add the clams and cook another hour until heated through. Season with extra pepper before serving.
