Slow Cooker Damson Pie

- 8 cup Damson, chopped into pieces
- 1½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- ¾ cup Milk
- 1 Tbs Vanilla
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Tbs Butter, softened
- 1½ cup Biscuit Baking Mix, divided in half
- ⅓ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 3 Tbs Cold Butter
Start by spraying slow cooker with non stick cooking spray.
Mix damson, 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg together in bowl.
Place this mixture into the slow cooker.
Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, 2 Tbs. butter and 3/4 cups of baking mix.
Pour the mixture over the damson.
Combine brown sugar, the remaining 3/4 cups of baking mix, 3 tbs of butter, and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon together.
Mixture should start to look like crumbs.
Sprinkle to crumbs over top the mixture in the slow cooker.
Put a paper over top the slow cooker and put the lid on over it.
Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
