Slow Cooker Flan with Raisins
Serving Size / Yield
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 14 ounces 2% or whole milk
- 3 eggs
- Caramel Sauce- 5 tablespoons (12.25 ounce jar of Caramel Sauce)
- Whipped Cream
- 1 cup raisins
Mix together sweetened condensed milk, milk, and eggs in a medium sized bowl, whisk until smooth.
Take out 5 ramekins.
Add one tbs of caramel sauce to each ramekin. Coat all sides with the sauces.
Pour the mixture inside the ramekins, only fill to the inner lip.
In the slow cooker, add 1/2 of water.
Put the ramekins inside.
Cook on high for 2 hours.
The flans are finished when they are slightly puffed looking.
Let cool in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
Remove flan from ramekin.
In a small bowl, take the raisins and add water. Microwave for 20 seconds.
Raisins should be tender.
Let dry on a paper towel.
Sprinkle over top of flan.
